Another year and another awesome week up at Camp Blue. The week started out with the wacky pool show and inter-tube water polo game. We all had fun in the water.
This year, we over to Pinecrest Lake a few times. We saw Lion King and Toy Story 4 in the movie theater under the stars. On Monday we headed with my mom for some paddle boating on the lake. Elsa went on 2 additional trips to the lake, first with the 8s&9s and then with the pre-teens(!).
Arne also headed out on Wednesday with Liam and our neighbors in Tent 12 for a fishing trip to the lake.
Once again there were fun sports to be played. Liam was very excited to play tennis, so he and my mom practiced hitting balls.
I continued my yearly softball and volleyball outings with lots of fun games.
We also had a blast in the art grove with tie-dye, creating many fun outfits, pottery, with both kids making a pot on the wheel and some fun lanyards.
Every day we spent time at the pool and it was great seeing how much fun the kids have and also how independent they have become!
Elsa had great fun with her friend MacKendzie.
Liam enjoyed his age group panning for gold.
Once again we enjoyed the fun evening shows, with Elsa and Liam doing age group talents in the Blue Review.
Overall it was a wonderful week with a more independent and engaged Elsa and Liam!
